Jedam – Wednesday, 8th of June, 9.00 p.m., Meeting Point Stage
Hailing from Sfântul Gheorghe, Jedam will open the series of concerts for the Hungarian Day and, at the same time, will open alternaTIFF.
Coming from an area infused with cultural influences, Jedam manages to elegantly combine local tradition with folk, rock and acid-jazz elements. The “chemistry” and professionalism of the members of the band is obvious even when they improvise.

AIRtist – Wednesday, 8th of June, 10.30 p.m., Boiler Club Stage
AIRtist play using air. The band is made up of 3 members who make analogue electronic sound with the help of 3 ancient instruments: the beat-box, didgeridoo and Jew's harp.
The result is not far from the source of inspiration and is self-called “organic trance”.

Anima Sound System - Wednesday, 8th of June, 00.00, Boiler Club Stage
They probably don't need any introduction. Anima Sound System is one of the first electro bands founded in Eastern Europe.
Since their debut in 1994, the band has undergone several metamorphoses: from changes of the members to changing their musical style: acid-jazz, trip-hop, drum’n bass and ethno- disco. In 2010, the band launched a new album inspired by 80s European electro-dance.

Snails - Thursday, 9th of June, 9.00 p.m., Meeting Point Stage
Snails was founded when the members of the band were still in high school and has endured the passing of time, even if half its members have changed. They play an abrasive brit-rock, very dynamic, most of the times in Romanian, and they've had 2 Radio Guerilla top hits. Snails are coming for the second time at TIFF, for the Moldavian Day.
