Why EducaTIFF?
It is one step forward in TIFF’s strong involvement on raising a children and youth cinema audience in Romania for films especially created for them.
It offers the favorable tools to combine cinema attending experience (sometimes even for the first time) in Romania, for children and youth, at films especially created for them with the educational impact the film has on them, through the after-film discussions in cinema and the in-classroom debates, based on the films lesson plans.
It is meant to fill in the lack of lesson plans resources for Romanian teachers by providing propere ducational materials based on films especially creted for children and youth and also the lack of this kind of films from the Romanian cinemas.
It aims at provoking and sustaining the Romanian distribution and production of films for children and youth.
