Lucian Maier
Lucian Maier (born in 1981) has been a regular contributor, as film critic, to LiterNet.ro and to Tribuna magazine, since 2006. He also writes about contemporary art in IDEA artă+societate magazine and is a book editor at IDEA publishing house. He has taught seminaries about postmodern cinema at the Babeş-Bolyai University, he teaches philosophy at the Iancu de Hunedoara College and is preparing his PhD thesis in philosophy, analyzing the evolution of cinematic language according to the Hegelian dialectic.

Simon Rumley
Simon Rumley is one of the UK's leading independent film-makers.
Having done a handful of shorts, he completed the structurally unique Strong Language which was released by the BFI in 2000. This was the first part of a youth trilogy set in London during the 1990s which was followed by The Truth Game and Club Le Monde, all of which were released theatrically in the UK and garnered top critical acclaim.
In 2004 he directed the award winning short The Handyman starring Greta Scacchi which won Best Short at Sitges in 2006 as well as a handful of other prizes. In 2005 he wrote, produced and directed the genre bending cult phenomenon The Living And The Dead. It premiered at Rotterdam Film Festival in 2006 and went on to play over 40 festivals worldwide, picking up 16 awards including best film at Austin's FantasticFest and Special Jury Prize at Sitges. In 2009 Rumley traveled to Austin, Texas to shoot Red White & Blue, a slacker revenge movie starring Noah Taylor. This also premiered in Rotterdam and received it's North American Premiere at SXSW to massive critical acclaim. The film won Best Feature at the Boston Underground Film Festival.
Rumley is now editing Bitch, his segment of Little Deaths, a horror anthology based in London.

Michelle Hoekstra
Michelle Hoekstra was born in Holland and lives in Spain. Her interest in film started at university where she used documentary applied to social studies. Over the years, she has worked for various film festivals, such as the Latin American Film Festival in Rotterdam, The International Festival of Short Film and Documentary ZINEBI in Bilbao, in a variety of jobs. For the last two years she has been festival coordinator of the Bilbao Fantasy Film Festival and co-organized the European Film Week in the Spanish Basque country.
