Boyd van Hoeij
Boyd is a freelance film writer specialized in contemporary European cinema. He reviews films for U.S. trade paper Variety from the major festivals, is the film editor of Winq magazine (Netherlands/UK) and is a correspondent for European cinema portal cineuropa.org. He also regularly contributes to the International Film Guide (UK), Filmkrant (Netherlands) and indieWIRE (US). His work has been published in ten languages including Romanian. His book on contemporary Belgian cinema will be out in September.

Klaus Eder
Born 1939 in the German city of Augsburg. Studies of German literature at Stuttgart university. Works as film critic from the middle of the 60s, actually for the national radio ("Bayerischer Rundfunk") and for German language film magazines. Books among others on Andrzej Wajda, Luis Bunuel, Nikita Mikhalkov and Andrei Konchalovski, Arturo Ripstein, Im Kwon-taek, Nagisa Oshima; two books together with Alexander Kluge. 1986 – 2007 programmer of the Munich International Film Festival. Adviser for a variety of festivals. General Secretary of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) from 1987. Lives and works in Munich, Germany.

Sirkka Moeller
Sirkka Moeller (b. Cologne) holds an MA in Cultural Anthropology. Since the eighties she has been working for film festivals, specialising in documentaries and shorts. She has worked in festival programming, distribution, subtitling and is a regular jury member, moderator and panellist at international film festivals. Sirkka lives in Aachen and Berlin and works as a freelance film consultant and curator as well as in documentary sales for world sales agent Deckert Distribution. Currently she is on selection panels for Berlinale Panorama and the Fribourg International Film Festival and coordinates special projects for the Berlinale Talent Campus and DOK Leipzig.
