
Dana Bunescu
BioDana is a Romanian editor, sound designer and director. After Physics studies, she graduated from the Multimedia Department of UNATC, Romania's top film school. She collaborated with numerous directors relevant for the so-called Romanian New Wave: Cristi Puiu (The Death of Mr. Lazarescu), Cristian Mungiu (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days, Tales from the Golden Age), Călin Peter Netzer (Child’s Pose, Ana, mon amour), Andrei Ujică (The Autobiography of Nicolae Ceausescu), Radu Jude (Aferim!, Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn). She has co-directed two documentary features: The Distance Between Me and Me, together with Mona Nicoară, and The Chalice. On Sons and Daughters, together with Cătălina Tesăr. For Ana, mon amour she received the Silver Bear for Outstanding Artistic Contribution at the 2017 Berlinale.
